Sometimes we just need a break from crowded RV parks. It’s always so peaceful to wake up encased in mountains, or next to a creek in the middle of nowhere. Finding free RV camping can be tough, but the site I use the most for this task is;

It’s extremely helpful and detailed, down to if the roads are doable for our 30′ Minnie Winnie! People have the option to write reviews about their experiences. There’s also a map which is nice to be able to see the surrounding area for what hiking trails are around.

This site at the Volcanic Tablelands was very bumpy to drive up, but the views were totally worth it. Ovie and I had a blast hiking the surrounding area, too!
